Likeable and well-mannered Jim Martin came to us with the belief that his songs were hit material. In his words, “It’s not a matter of if, but a matter of when.” Jim lives and works in Nashville to be close to the music industry. Due to Wilson’s disease and a liver transplant in 2002 which left him unable to talk, much less sing, Jim has had monumental obstacles to overcome in a profession that is based on sound. At his audition with our show, the panelists were instantly aware that his lyrics were success in waiting, and just needed someone to sing them out.
